Empowering Possibilities: The Synergistic Partnership between NFEDP and governmental administration in Bulgaria.
Since the D-WISE Network's launch in December 2018, its initial phase has produced targeted policy recommendations for national and European decision-makers. These recommendations address areas such as the diversity of work integration social enterprises employing people with disabilities, their connections with the social economy sector, employment forms and transitions to the open labor market, state aids, data and research, and the impact of COVID-19 on companies employing people with disabilities.
This report aims to present and propose indicators for measuring the impact of D-WISEs. Completed in September 2022 after over a year of work and a consultation process with members of the D-WISE Network organizations across Europe.
The comparative study "Towards Inclusive Employment of Persons with Disabilities" was developed in early 2020 by researchers from the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research in Vienna. This report evaluates six national reports provided by partner organizations, comparing their approaches and measures for employing persons with disabilities.
Similar to the EU regulatory framework overview, this document provided essential perspective and background information for the Network. It offers a broader international view on how access to work and employment for persons with disabilities is addressed in key international human rights and labor legislation. The document includes an overview of the UN Agenda 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals, the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and ILO conventions and recommendations concerning the employment of persons with disabilities.
This report provided a foundational framework for the Network’s research, detailing how the EU has approached the employment and social protection of persons with disabilities. It summarizes key Eurostat data and outlines the EU's framework for monitoring the progress of Member States in including and employing persons with disabilities.
The Samhall Method: Gradually upskilling workers with disabilities to place them on the Swedish labour market.
