Red D-WISE. Trabajo inclusivo, trabajo sabio

On Tuesday, 27 of September 2022, the D-WISE Network met in Brussels for its bi-annual members’ meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to welcome new Members in the D-WISE network, present the new Social Impact Report, as well as exchange with high-level guests on the latest Disability Employment Package. 

The D-WISE Network is proud to present its 2022 Social Impact Report.

Earlier this year, following virtual introductions, a D-WISE network delegation visited different Work Inclusion Social Enterprises (WISEs) based in countries beyond those represented within its membership, namely Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland and Romania. These visits aimed at further introducing the network to them, while better understanding their employment models.

The Commission’s Communication Building an economy that works for people: an action plan for the social economy, presented by Commissioner Schmitt on 9 December 2021, lays solid foundations to develop policies and regulations in support of the social economy sector across the EU.

On 22 October 2021, the D-WISE network and EPR organised an interactive webinar regarding labour and social inclusion of people with disabilities in the field of Work Inclusion Social Enterprises.

On 22 October 2021 the European Platform for Rehabilitation (EPR) hosted a webinar in partnership with the D-WISE Network in order to take stock of the situation of the sector in Europe.
